I strongly believe in Electrolysis. It changed my life and gave me great opportunities. My clients are my inspiration; I am honored to help them.

About Tetiana

I am from Lviv, Ukraine where I completed my BS in International Economics. At 19, I came to the United States to start a new chapter of my life.

Since my teen years, PCOS has negatively impacted my life. I had to find answers because only some doctors knew about PCOS then, and those who knew thought it was not serious. That is when I started my own electrolysis journey which changed the direction of my life; my electrologist at the time put the seed in my head to learn the Art of Electrolysis permanent hair removal. God Bless her! She made me believe in myself and gave me the encouragement I needed to start my own business.

I'm always dedicated and strive for excellence in everything I do. Although starting my own business has been challenging, it is also very rewarding. The best part of being an electrologist is interacting with my clients. I love to communicate with them and hear their stories.

I have offered my services as an electrologist for 7 years and have worked with people from so many different backgrounds. Having undergone the electrolysis process myself, I fully comprehend what my clients deal with in their day-to-day life due to unwanted hair. Increased hair growth is not solely an aesthetic problem for a feminine face, but it can strongly impact psychological well-being and overall health.

That is why my work as an electrologist is so meaningful to me. I come from a family of doctors and taking care of people comes naturally to me. I encourage a healthy lifestyle, self-care, and self-awareness. My clients trust me to deliver quality service and results and they are often astonished how much confidence and courage they gain by finally getting control over their unwanted hair.

About Randi

As a little girl, I used to go with my Mom as she would have her unwanted hair removed with Electrolysis and tell me, "this is what you're going to do when you get big"; I was eight at the time.

I originally went to school for Animal Science as I wanted to be a Veterinarian. After graduating with an associate's Degree in Animal Science, I got a fantastic job in animal Cardiology. Still, wondering how I became an Electrologist? Well, Mom was right. I was one hairy little girl who grew into a hairy woman. It wasn't until a boy I was dating commented about my "cute" mustache that I became so humiliated with my hair that I sought my own electrologist. She was the best; she cleared up all my facial hair, and then we expanded to other body parts (underarms, bikini line, etc.). I was hooked and fascinated. So I went to school to learn how to be an electrologist. Then, I changed my career from Veterinary Technician to an Electrologist.

I graduated from Berkowits School of Electrolysis in 1987. I received my degree as a Graduate Electrologist and later as a Certified Laser Technician. I opened my shop two years later in Canarsie, Brooklyn. As much as I love the Animal Field, Electrolysis is where my calling is.

I have been doing Electrolysis for over 35 years and now Laser hair removal for over 20 years. I had the pleasure of working under a top medical facility in Woodmere before COVID closed us down, and I now have the pleasure of working for South Shore Center For Electrolysis.

Over the years, I have helped enrich the lives of hundreds of clients by removing unwanted or embarrassing body hair. I have made countless lifelong friends. I love what I do and the difference it makes in people's lives. I know I've improved people's lives and added to their self-esteem and confidence. Book Your Appointment for Your FREE Consultation. I look forward to meeting you and getting you started on your Permanent Hair Removal Journey!

About Sara

My personal experience with excessive hair growth from PCOS has allowed me to engage with my clients regarding their need for hair removal and trust in the process. I was born in Pakistan and raised in Long Island, NY. My social, energetic, and caring personality has made many clients feel comfortable and open around me in expressing their insecurities about unwanted facial and body hair. Being a woman of color and understanding the problem of hyperpigmentation, I have received much positive feedback from clients of different ethnic backgrounds.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Public Health, where I have studied to keep the community safe by preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting health through society's efforts. In addition to my work and education, I love to travel. I have visited many countries and love learning about different cultures and ways of life. As an electrologist, I would like to inspire the same confidence in my clients and everyone in my life.

I look forward to meeting you all and making you feel as beautiful as ever!

About Ayanna

Born and raised in Queens, I love discovering and traveling. My hobbies are makeup and singing. I love to spend time with family and friends, get brunch, or even stay in playing board/card games.

I’ve always disliked shaving my legs, plucking my eyebrows, and getting rid of unwanted hair on the different parts of my body! I wanted to feel more comfortable in my own skin without having hairy insecurities! My cousin introduced me to the art of permanent hair removal. Over the next year, I took care of all the unwanted hair on my body. No more time wasted at home getting ready to go out, and I felt great! In addition to her, I spoke with many men and women who have had Electrolysis and Laser services - which led to my decision to become a professional electrologist and a laser technician. I happily enrolled at the Berkowits School of Electrolysis and Laser and received my certifications soon after. Working at South Shore Center for Electrolysis has given me the opportunity to obtain additional training in Electrolysis and Laser. I have been able to work with many wonderful clients and in return create an environment of beauty, relaxation, and self-appreciation.

I’m dedicated to my profession and understand the problem areas which my clients want to focus on while encouraging them to surpass their insecurities. I love making my clients feel their best through my work.
